Update From Our Director (October, 2017)
We are down to our final Family Wellness Regional Conference for 2017. The feedback we’ve received from those who have attended one of the previous three conferences has been tremendous. Please don’t miss the opportunity to join us for our final conference in Phoenix, AZ.
As a reminder, the aim of these gatherings is for you to come out and meet the entire Family Wellness Ministry Team face to face and to learn more about this dynamic ministry and how you can be a part of it.
Our goal is to share the vision of this vital ministry with you. Our FWM team members–some, very sought-after speakers–will facilitate interactive workshops on topics within their areas of expertise: Parenting, Marriage and Addiction.
The workshops model ways on how to incorporate family wellness in your parish and offer concrete suggestions on how to build a family wellness ministry within your church community.
The conferences offer opportunities to connect and collaborate with others in your region, with those who share a heart for Family Wellness Ministry within the Orthodox Church.
As a licensed marriage and family therapist and a priest in the Orthodox Church, I’ve seen first-hand how divorce, addiction, abuse, and shifting moral values can hurt and harm families. The Family Wellness Ministry was designed to help struggling families heal.
